| I'm rebuilding a VG30DETT for my Z which will be aimed at 500HP and will be used primarily for track days and long street cruises to and from club events My budget allows for a full rebuild with either Wiseco or new OEM pistons (with forged rods, new bearings etc). The dilemma: I'm wondering if anyone here regrets installing forged Wiseco pistons into their street driven Z32? blow by/last-ability/piston slap annoyances? (I've read numerous issues on other forums.) Considering that and I want to limit things to 500hp should I opt 0.5 oversize OEM pistons? (Greg at Specialty Z recommends stock pistons for longer wear "up to 500hp".) Hoping to hear pros and cons of forged pistons for street use.
